Are Rihanna And Drake Back Together Again???

Looks like we may be getting Rihanna’s eagerly anticipated new album, ANTI, sooner than expected. After two years of a string of semi hits (including “Four Five Seconds” and “Bitch Better Have My Money”), she finally seems to have decided on what direction to take her album in. After hearing her rumored first single from the album “Work” featuring Drake, I’m not so sure it will be a good one. Let’s be clear that Rihanna is not the best singer in the world. I think we all can agree on that. She is an entertainer who makes catchy songs at best. I have several of her albums though, so I’m not hating.

All I can say about this record is putting Drake on it was her best decision. Now, back to the singing part. The lyrics here are pretty redundant. She’s pretty much repeating the same thing over and over again. In all fairness, she’s not the first to do this though. Destiny’s Child really made that popular (“Bills Bills Bills”, “Jumpin Jumpin”, “No No No”, etc). There’s just one crucial difference. They can actually sing, so there was room for forgiveness. I’ll get off my soap box now and let you hear for yourself, from the Tidal link below. The track itself is nice, but I just can’t do RiRi’s voice on this one.

Plus, check out my thoughts on the Toni Braxton biopic, ‘Unbreak My Heart’. Did she create her own financial problems? Is she even still relevant? How was the acting from her likeness in the film, Lex Scott Davis?
