Teen allegedly sets fire at girls home after argument over pork chopsBy: Monya Fleming
This is just crazy...or some really good pork chops! A 19-year-old named Miracle Wilford became upset that she would not be served a third helping of pork chops and decided to start a fire at a residential treatment center for teen girls.
The Youngstown, Ohio teenager became very upset after staff at the center refused her demand for another pork chop. Wilford then decided to teach them at lesson at the Tender Loving Care facility!
Staff at the residential treatment center stated that the 19-year-old asked for another pork chop, but they explained that she had already been served two while another girl had only had just one. That obviously wasn't the answer Miracle hoped to hear and she took her anger out on the building.
Miracle started trashing the place, flipping tables over and causing damage to the property. Police officers that responded arrived to find a dresser and a Christmas tree knocked over, as well as broken light bulbs and other damage.
Wilford locked herself inside of a bathroom when police arrived on the scene, but they finally talked her into opening the door. Miracle told the police that she was angry because she feels the staff treats the other girl better than they do her. She told officers she just wanted to be left alone and no longer wanted to live at the residential treatment center.
Officers were talking to witnesses at the scene when a smoke alarm went off in the building and heavy smoke came billowing out of the bathroom. Cops checked out the bathroom to discover that a shower curtain had been caught on fire. Officers were able to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
Wilford admitted starting the fire, revealing she used matches. Miracle was taken into custody and is now facing a felony arson charge. She just better hope they service pork chops in the slammer!
