50 Cent Responds To Gabrielle Union After She Blamed Him For "Being Mary Jane" Cancellation
50 Cent has trolled Gabrielle Union on social media over her BET show, "Being Mary Jane" for months now. The actress jokingly told fans to blame the "Power" star for her show being axed, with Fiddy responding with a smart aleck comment.

50 Cent obviously felt "Being Mary Jane" was competition for his new show on BET, "50 Central", and has been throwing shade at Gabrielle and her show since last summer.

Back in July, the actor shared a photo of himself standing beside a promotional poster for "Being Mary Jane", writing in the comments section, "This is supposed to be my competition, it’s rated #1 on BET check it out. it’s good but I’m gonna beat the ratings with (50central).”

This is supposed to be my competition, it's rated #1 on BET check it out. it's good but I'm gonna beat the ratings with (50central)#50centralBET

50 Cent followed that up in August with a  photo of himself in a luxury car with the caption, "Remember that other show that thought they were in competition with POWER, what happened to it? I don't hear anyone talking shit anymore. Now I'm gonna take over BET."

Union responded to the former rapper's comments, writing, "I don't compete with other artists, only celebrate. Enough space for all of us to succeed. Cheers to #Power and cheers to creative folks uplifting each other. ALL our programming could use more shine, so I opt to uplift. I know that celebrating other folks in no way dims my shine. Keep shining @50cent."

Just two months later, BET announced that "Being Mary Jane" was coming to an end with a two-hour series finale movie.

Gabrielle made light of her little feud with Fiddy during a recent interview, pointing the finger of blame at him for her show ending.

Union sarcastically said on First We Feast's "Hot Ones" talk show, "For everyone who’s just really upset that BMJ is coming to a close, please send all your correspondence to 50 [Cent], Curtis Jackson, who has taken sole responsibility for the loss of jobs and your show. So don’t @ me, @ 50."

When we pray for success,we don't pray for jealousy envy or entitlement but they come with it. You will lose some people, don't be afraid of change. #50Centralbet

Fans were pretty certain 50 Cent wouldn't let Union's remarks slide and they were not disappointed. 50 responded on Instagram with, "Listen I told you things were gonna change Gabrielle, no disrespect with all do respect, I have no respect."

Fans weighed in on 50 Cent's petty post in the comments section.

User karen.flawless wrote, "This show was followed all around the world and was about a talented black women facing all kind of struggles nowadays. But like always nobody cares. If it's your fault own it but how come a channel like BET can't have several show in 2017. No wonder everyone goes on netflix now."

And follower tashawnns commented, "Being Mary Jane was the only reason I watched BET. Oh well, guess that's over with now."

The series finale of Being Mary Jane will premiere in 2018.
