So Here is the Reported Real Cause of Bernie Mac's Death
Fans of Bernie Mac were pretty shocked to learn of the comedian's death in 2008 at the age of 50-years-old.

Now, the show "Autopsy" is having their medical professionals uncover new evidence in the death of Mac.

Mac started as a stand-up comedian in Chicago's Cotton Club. He won the Miller Lite Comedy Search at the age of 32 and he quickly grew popular.

However, it was his performance on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam" that really thrust him into the spotlight.

Martin Lawrence was unable to calm the hostile audience and Bernie went out on stage and told them, "I ain't scared o' you motha[expletive]", telling the crowd he "didn't come here for no foolishness".

Mac went on to star as Pastor Clever in Ice Cube's 1995 film "Friday", which led to additional films including his starring role as Dollar Bill in "The Players Club." He landed his own sitcom in 2001, "The Bernie Mac Show" that was on the air for five years.

Mac was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2002 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
The comedian also was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2003 Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, both for his work on "The Bernie Mac Show."

In the final three years of his life, Mac revealed he suffered from sarcoidosis, a disease that causes inflammation in tissue. Mac often had issues with his lungs due to the disease. He was admitted to the hospital in 2008 in Chicago with pneumonia. His condition worsened and a week later he went into cardiac arrest and died on August 9. His death was said to be due to complications of pneumonia.

However, there may be more to the story according to a new episode of "Autopsy."
