This Former Star of VH1’s ‘Basketball Wives’ is Suing her Ex Baller for Getting Her Fired

A former cast member of the hit reality show Basketball Wives is accusing her NBA Balling ex Chris Bosh of costing her $1 million dollars AND getting her fired from the show.

theJasmineBrand.com is reporting that Allison Mathis has responded to her ex’s motion to dismiss her lawsuit on June 21st as Chris’ intentions were to get it dismissed without heading to trial.

Allison says she signed a contract with VH1’s Basketball Wives back in early 2011 and began filming scenes with then co-star Royce Reed immediately after the ink dried.

Chris Bosh’s baby mama says that she was receiving positive feedback from her appearance on reality show and never spoke badly about her balling baby daddy. She said she made it clear to the production crew that she would not involve her daughter or relationship with Chris on Basketball Wives

Though she made the effort to respect Chris Bosh's privacy beforehand, Allison says Bosh interfered months after she started filming. She says Chris reached out to the producers of Basketball Wives and told them that his baby mama has a confidentiality agreement to not talk about him in public. After he filed a lawsuit, Allison was removed from the cast.

TSR STAFF: Talia O. @theclosetratchet _____________________________________ Looks like Chris Bosh is experiencing drama on and off the court... and if you thought it was baby mama drama, you guessed it! Word on the street is Bosh will be going head to head with the producers of VH1's hit show "Basketball Wives LA" in order to keep his baby mama quiet! _____________________________________ So back in August, Allison Mathis sued her baby zaddy Chris Bosh after she alleged that he interfered with her Basketball Wives checks since she believes she was let go from the show because of him. She detailed that back in 2011, Bosh had sued Shed Media, the production company behind #BBWLA, and had arranged a settlement agreement with them. Mathis alleged that almost immediately after this, she was let go from the show. Word is Bosh never wanted her to appear on the show in the first place because he feared that she would "infringe on his trademarks and publicity rights." It was so bad he aint't even want his name to be mentioned on the show! _____________________________________ Well according to The Jasmine Brand, Bosh countered her lawsuit last month and sent a subpoena over to Shed Media requesting them to send a "copy of all raw footage from the Basketball Wives series that includes images of Allison Mathis." Bosh also reportedly stated that if Shed Media doesn't fork over the documents the company can be held in --- read more at TheShadeRoom.com (link in bio)
Because she lost the gig, Allison is accusing Chris of keeping her from providing for herself and their daughter even though she did nothing to tarnish his name and/or reputation.

She reports that she was set to earn a $191,000 shortly after signing her Basketball Wives contract plus a $1 million in opportunities that included club appearances, book contracts, endorsement deals, licensing deals and more!
She says that she’s been forced to work in retail and has been struggling financially since he allegedly got her fired. Allison says she even filed for bankruptcy to save the home where she lives with their daughter.

After Chris Bosh filed a lawsuit in 2011 against his baby mama and the producers of Basketball Wives, Allison counter-sued because of the potential income she allegedly missed out on and lying to the producers behind the show about her signing a non-disclosure agreement that says does not exist.

Allison’s lawsuit has been pending since Bosh’s initial filing as she now fights her baby daddy’s insistence on getting the case dismissed altogether. As far as Chris Bosh is concerned, he says he has done nothing wrong.
