You Won't Believe What Beyoncé Has Reportedly Been Having a Hard Time With...

You Won't Believe What Beyoncé Has Reportedly Been Having a Hard Time With...

Beyoncé’s life is just a never-ending stream of lawsuits, it seems. Her attorneys are probably super pleased with the non-stop work (and paychecks) though.

We were just discussing updates on the whole Roc-A-Fella-Records-logo-popping-up-in-the-”Drunk-In-Love”-video situation (Dwayne Walker is suing her for copyright infringement since it supposedly shows up in the form of a chain around Jay-Z’s neck in the music video) and now there is another case to cover.

Whew.

Bey has had her sights set on trademarking her daughter’s name for some time, presumably to prevent companies and brand from cashing in on Blue Ivy’s moniker, though she now claims that she is doing so to be able to sell products like cosmetics, mobile devices and video games down the line. But this endeavor has been rather bumpy from the get-go.

She first attempted to get ownership of the name Blue Ivy in 2012, the same year that her daughter was born, but this was denied.

💕
An event-planning company has been using the name “Blue Ivy” since before Blue Ivy (the child) came into the world. They believe that Bey is merely trying to keep others from using the name and that she has no right to do so.
Earlier in 2017, Bey filed documents for another attempt, but it seems that she will be plopping “Carter” into the mix in the hopes of increasing her chances of winning this trademarking match.

Stay tuned. Odds are that we will be hearing more about this matter soon. Oh and we hope that she takes the time to Google her future babies’ names this time around.

Hope she isn’t stressing too much about all this. The babies are coming soon and we are betting that she is already in the midst of planning some elaborate arrival celebration. It’s how she rolls. Do you really think that a woman who rolled out a floral-themed photoshoot for her pregnancy announcement will keep it super low key long-term?
