SEE: Bobby Brown Remembers His Angel Bobbi Kristina Nearly Two Years After Her Death

It's coming up on two years since the tragic death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.

Bobby paid tribute to his daughter on social media ahead of the second anniversary of her passing, asking followers to support the non-profit organization created in his late daughter's name.

The singer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a photo of Bobbi Kristina, writing in the caption, "My Angel My???? FOLLOW @bobbikristinaserenityhouse and join the movement."

The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House is a 24-hour emergency shelter in Los Angeles that offers battered women and their children housing and counseling.

The New Edition singer announced the organization on his daughter's birthday in March.

Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Georgia townhome on January 31, 2015. She was rushed to a local hospital, but suffered brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Doctors put Bobbi Kristina in a medically-induced coma at that time.

The family made the tough decision to remove Bobbi Kristina from life support six months later and she passed away on July 26, 2015. Her death was very similar to that of her mother's, with Whitney also dying in a bathtub three years earlier in a hotel suite at the Beverly Hilton.

Several of Kristina Brown’s family members, including her father Bobby, blamed her boyfriend Nick Gordon for her death.

The family filed a civil lawsuit that suggested Bobbi Kristina's death came after Gordon beat her, before placing her into the bathtub and injecting her with a toxic mixture of drugs. Nick has always insisted he had nothing to do with her death. Gordon was never criminally charged in connection with her passing. However, a judge ruled he was liable for her death and ordered him to pay $36 million to Bobbi Kristina's estate.

Gordon found himself in legal trouble yet again last month, after he was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Laura Leal. She claimed he beat her in a jealous rage, narrowly escaping with her life. Gordon told authorities he never hit Leal and that he was the one being "abused."A  judge ordered the 28-year-old to wear an ankle monitor and to steer clear of Leal. His next court date is scheduled for August.
