Lil' Boosie Pens An Open Letter To Bobby Shmurda As New Pics Of The Jailed Rapper Hit The Net
It appears that Bobby Shmurda, whose real name is Ackquille Jean Pollard, is using his time behind bars to work on his physique. Recent photos of the Brooklyn rapper show Shmurda has been spending some time in the gym.

The "Hot [Expletive]" rapper was first arrested on December 17, 2014 in New York, charged with conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment.

In 2016, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to prison for seven years. The term was reduced to five due to credit for the two years served awaiting trial counting towards the sentence.

In June of 2015, a Rikers Island prison guard spotted Shmurda's girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, pull a latex glove balloon wrapped in black electrical tape out of her bra and give it to the rapper. The guard opened the balloon and discovered a "sharpened metal object" that could be used as a weapon.

The pair were both charged with two counts of promoting contraband, in addition to one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, then that could result in an additional seven-year sentence.

On September 2, 2016, as part of a plea deal, Pollard pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree conspiracy and one count of weapons possession, and was sentenced to 7 years in prison. Under the deal, Pollard cannot appeal the sentence, but will be given credit for 2 years served, leaving 5 years left on his sentence, followed by 5 years of probation

His lawyer Alex Spiro expects that with good behavior, Pollard will only serve approximately three and a half years.

Shmurda previously stated that he believed he was being targeted due to his celebrity status."They’re just doing this because I’m Bobby Shmurda and this is supposed to be a political case and all types of crazy [expletive]. I want people to pay attention because I want them to say what evidence they have on me. I want them to put it out there because there’s no evidence whatsoever. They don’t have me conspiring to murder nobody, no guns, no fingerprints, none of my DNA is on the guns. This [expletive] is crazy,”

Rapper Lil Boosie spotted the recent photo of a bulked-up Bobby on social media, sharing the image and giving the incarcerated rapper some encouragement.

Boosie wrote, "Free Bobby [expletive]. I know you pain my G. U coming home n it's go be 10x sweeter than the last time. Everything happen for a reason. Freedom will ring soon n when it do, [expletive] on these [expletive] who holding they [expletive]."

Boosie knows from experience, having served time in the Louisiana State Penitentiary from 2009 to 2014 wrote.
