New Mother Cardi B Has An Announcement To Make About Her Upcoming Tour With Bruno Mars — See It Here
We didn't see this coming...

Sad news for fans expecting to see Cardi B on the upcoming "24K Magic" Tour with Bruno Mars this fall.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper recently took to social media to explain that after some more though and careful consideration, she has decided not to go on tour this fall with Bruno Mars.

The reason? –  Her newborn baby with rapper Offset, Kulture.

New to motherhood, Cardi says she’s not ready to leave her behind or put her through the hassle of bringing her on the road.

In a statement on Instagram, she wrote: “As of today, I’ve decided I won’t be joining Bruno on tour this fall. I thought that after giving birth to my daughter, that six weeks would be enough time for me to recover mentally and physically. I also thought that I would be able to bring her with me on tour, but I think I underestimated this whole mommy thing.”

She continued: “Not only am I not ready physically, I am not ready to leave my baby behind since the doctors explained it is not healthy for her to be on the road. I hope you guys understand that this decision has been the hardest to make but I have to do what’s best for myself and my baby! Thank you Bruno for being so supportive and understanding.”

Check out Cardi’s announcement, below:

I hope you guys understand .This have been such a hard decision .I want to thank @brunomars for understanding .
The tour was supposed to be kicking off September 7th in Denver, and for those that bought tickets - it’s still scheduled to.

At this moment what’s not clear is if Bruno will find a substitute for Cardi B or if he’ll process on the "24K Magic Tour" by himself. If you’ve never been to a Bruno Mars concert, trust he’ll make up for her absence in some way or form.

What is clear though is Bruno Mars has responded to Cardi B’s announcement.

In supportive fashion, the “24K Magic” singer posted “A Message For Cardi”, letting the 25-year-old know he’ll play “Bodak Yellow” on tour every night in her honor.

He wrote, “Most important thing is you and your family’s health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing. I also know we’ll share the stage when the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every nght in your honor. Please give your baby girl a hug from me and a hug on behalf of everyone on The 24K Magic Tour. Love Bruno.”

We wish Cardi a speedy recovery and hope to see her gracing the stage soon!
