Nicki Minaj Breaks Her Silence After Ugly Altercation With Cardi B At A New York Fashion Week Party
Wow. So, that Nicki Minaj-Cardi B drama is no longer bubbling up quietly behind the scenes (and merely popping up on social media.)

Yup. The two musical superstars reportedly got into a physical altercation the other day at a New York Fashion Week party. But Nicki will not be pressing charges against Cardi, who seems to have instigated the smack-down.

A spokesperson for NYPD has stated that “at this point in time we don’t have a complaint on either side.”

So, what actually happened?

During a performance by Christina Aguilera at the high-fashion event at The Plaza Hotel, an eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight that Cardi "lunged" at the Anaconda hitmaker on the second-floor balcony, and tried to "kick and punch" the rapper.

Nicki reportedly made/liked a comment on social media about Cardi B parenting of her infant daughter, Kulture Kiari. After approaching Nicki and screaming, Cardi B threw her shoe at the other rapper when she could not make it past Nicki’s crew of bodyguards.

Hm. Cardi does have a history of tossing footwear at people, right?

In a video obtained by Cosmopolitan, the mother-of-one is heard screaming: “I will f [expletive] you up! Keep playing with me”.

Of course we all saw this confrontation coming a long time ago...

Complex says that the nonsense between these two dates back to March 2017 when Cardi B joined a performance by fellow anti-Nicki rapper Remy Ma at Hot 97’s Summer Jam Festival. Hm.

Then there was all that talk about the MotorSport collaboration, which seems to have led to Nicki finally admitting that it wasn’t all golden between her and Cardi.

Anyway, Cardi B left the fight scene with a big welt on her forehead. It’s not clear as to how she sustained the injury, but there is speculation that Cardi B was elbowed by someone in Nicki’s security detail. Others are suggesting that Cardi B was hurt after she was pushed from behind.

According to The Inquisitr, Nicki later posed for a series of photographs, smiling and looking not at all bothered by the incident.

Cardi B soon ventured to Instagram to vent about the situation. Cardi B captioned the post, “PERIOD” and tried to tell her side of the story.

“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are [expletive] off!!”

Cardi B’s post received over 3.2 million likes and more than 301,000 comments since it was posted, so it’s safe to say that Cardi’s supporters are on her side. But is Cardi okay? It sounds like she has a lot going on these days.

According to MTO News, Nicki reached out to her top FAN PAGES, and had them post out a response to the altercation at Fashion Week. The statement said that Nicki never made any comments about Cardi's daughter Kulture or Cardi's parenting.

Afterwards, Nicki "liked" the post.

Do you think Nicki should let this go, legally?
