‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Emily B Reacts To Fabolous’ Domestic Violence Charges Following Alleged Abuse
Fabolous has officially been charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of making terroristic threats against longtime girlfriend—and the mother of his two sons—Emily Bustamante.

According to court documents obtained by Bossip, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office will be trying the rapper’s case.

If convicted, Fab faces 3-5 years behind bars and up to $15,000 in fines. Emily reportedly scrubbed all traces of him off social media weeks ago.

However, the reality star’s loved ones have other concerns to concentrate on for the time being.

“Emily is staying with family right now but she and Fab are talking daily and he’s begging her for another chance,” a source dished to Hollywood Life. “She hasn’t taken him back yet but a lot of her friends fear it’s only a matter of time before she does because she’s already started making excuses for him. They’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times over the years, it’s hard for her friends to believe that she’ll stick to it this time. The only saving grace is that this is out of her hands now that the courts are involved.”

Police reports reveal Emily is insisting that the MC punched her seven times, knocking two of her front teeth loose, which later required medical removal.

He also reportedly threatened to “hit her in the head with a bat” and was even caught on film threatening her and her father (possibly with a knife). The clip seems to have initially led Fabolous to turn himself in on domestic violence charges. TMZ added that the charges included aggravated assault and making a terroristic threat…which can be heard in the video when Fab threatens to shoot them.

But his lawyer, Alberto Ebanks, insists that the incident was “only an argument”.

“There certainly is no crime being committed,” Fab's lawyer Alberto Ebanks allegedly told TMZ at one point. “If what you see in the video were a crime, we’d have to build more jails.”

Court documents previously noted that Fab seems to have become “enraged” while he was on a business trip in Los Angeles on March 7, after he discovered via Instagram that Emily was in LA as well.

After she was punched in the face by Fab, she seems to have “called her father to remove two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her.”

When Fab “could not locate the guns, the defendant left the house, but not before informing the victim, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them."

Fab and Emily started dating 12 years ago (but have temporarily split up a few times along the way).

Yikes all around. Hope that this situation does not end tragically and that all involved can get the love and support they need.
