What?! The L.A. County Sheriff's Department Says They Have Arrested Tupac Shakur
Pull out your tinfoil hats, dear readers. It’s time to talk about some hyper-zany news. Our sometimes-favorite kind! And sometimes-least favorite kind. It depends on the day, guys.

TMZ is reporting that Tupac Amaru Shakur was arrested last month for felony assault with a deadly weapon. Are we sure it wasn’t that “hologram” from Coachella or whatever? Just checking. You can never be too sure. Snicker, snicker.

Anyway, get ready to re-welcome the rapper as he emerges from the shadows!

No, not really. According to VIBE, “a 45-year-old man, real name Clarence Campbell, has been using ‘Pac’s name as an alias whenever he gets a little too close with law enforcement, including once when he was booked for battery. Thankfully, cops know of Campbell’s shenanigans. Yet, the booking information shows ‘Pac’s full name and his June 16, 1971 birthdate.”

What a tool. Why couldn’t he just pick some other moniker? He should have picked “French Montana” or “Tyrese Gibson”. Then people would just hear that they did something else horrible and would be like “Yup, that all checks out”.  No, we are only playing around. Life can be fun.

Also, is Campbell a fan? Or a foe? Perhaps he is a little nutty? This is really such an odd story all around. No doubt that it will stir up some new conspiracy theories amongst those who believe that Tupac is secretly alive and in hiding somewhere.

Can’t wait to read ‘em. They will be something to marvel over. People can be soooo creative.

Speaking of, maybe this is some brilliant, unique guerilla marketing strategy to drum up some interest in and/or promote the upcoming “All Eyez On Me” Tupac biopic? Just in the very unlikely chance that it is, let’s give a slow clap. It’s coming out in theaters on June 16th, in any case.
