Apollo Nida Asks Judge To Toss Out Phaedra Parks' Divorce Judgement: Find Out Why!

Apollo Nida may be behind bars as he serves an 8-year-prison sentence for financial fraud, but the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star has his attorneys working to have a judge overturn the divorce judgement with ex-wife Phaedra Parks.

Phaedra appeared to have her divorce finalized on the sly, even misspelling her last name in the divorce petition.

Apollo is now claiming he never laid his eyes upon the original divorce documents and wasn't notified of the divorce hearing.

Happy New Year everyone! Love y'all be safe and wishing you all an amazing year! 🎉🎊🎉🎊

Nida is requesting that he receive his equal share of the $1.3 million Buckhead home they once shared together.

Phaedra has been warned not to sell the Atlanta mansion until after a decision is made in Apollo's divorce claim against her. The 38-year-old slapped Phaedra with a lien on the 4,229 square foot property. The home was purchased by Parks in 2013 for $845,000 in 2013.

Parks, an attorney, filed for divorce last March, according to newly revealed court documents. Nida failed to sign off on the legal documents because he never even saw them. A judge finally granted Phaedra the divorce in November, as well as an agreement that she will have primary custody of their two children: Ayden, six, and Dylan, three.

Happy 2017!!!!! Thanking God for all the blessings and lessons of 2016. Looking forward to the new year, new opportunities and new chances to make a difference. Thank you God for new discernment, continued grace and mercy! #HappyNewYear #blessed #excited #newyear #newyou #newanointing #newfocus 🙏🏾🙌🏾💃🏾

The judge ordered that Phaedra will pay $100,000 towards Apollo’s criminal restitution fine. The decree also states that Apollo will have visitation with their children upon his release from prison.

Apollo filed his own divorce papers in a Georgia Court last month, claiming he never saw the original documents and wasn't notified of the final divorce hearing. Apollo has accused Phaedra of taking advantage of the fact that he was behind bars and is requesting that her divorce judgement be tossed out of court.

Parks has not commented on Apollo's latest legal demands, but did post a photo on Instagram that reads, "Never look back. If Cinderella had gone back to pick up her shoe, she would never have become a princess."
