Report: Dr. Phil Accused Of Providing Drugs & Alcohol To TV Guests With Addictions
Stop us if you've heard this one before.

Publications Stat and The Boston Globe are reporting that Dr. Phil may have given drugs and alcohol to addicts who appeared on his show.

Todd Herzog (he won “Survivor: China”) apparently popped up on-camera in 2013, in order to discuss his struggle with alcoholism, reports note. He says that he discovered a liter of Smirnoff vodka in his dressing room.

He also alleges that a staffer handed him a Xanax to “calm his nerves.” It seems he consumed both the vodka and the pill before taping began; this supposedly led to him having to be assisted on stage.

At the time, Dr. Phil declared that he had “never talked to a guest who was closer to death.”
Popular talk show host #DrPhil is being accused of giving alcohol and drugs to his guests who are battling addiction.
A family member of an unnamed guest told reporters that their relative purchased heroin “with the knowledge and support of show staff” before taping.

All in the name of ratings, reportedly.

While Dr.Phil has yet to officially respond to all this just yet; Martin Greenberg, a psychologist who works for him, stepped in.

Martin insists that “addicts are notorious for lying, deflecting and trivializing.”

“If they are at risk when they arrive, then they were at risk before they arrived [...] The only change is they are one step closer to getting help, typically help they could not have even come close to affording.”

The report also claims that the host has a mutually beneficial business relationship with the treatment centers he often refers guests to.

A new #investigation uncovers troubling allegations against Dr. Philand his daytime talk show.
Doubt this is the last we will all be hearing about this. Yikes.

Kathy Griffin once claimed Bravo producer Andy Cohen had offered her cocaine before an episode of “Watch What Happens Live”.

Andy quickly denied this, tweeting, “I am completely stunned by this story. It is 100% false and totally made up.”

Joseline Hernandez chimed into the conversation via a comment on FreddyO’s Instagram page.

“Why she act like this is new,” she wrote. “All the reality shows give cast members drugs alcohol and they tell you who to beat up too [sic].”

“Girl, handle business behind closed doors,” Joseline continued.

Which we still think is pretty ballsy coming from her.
