Safaree Samuels recently revealed
how much it would cost Nicki Minaj to be rid of his complaints and critiques over unpaid work once and for all—and it was two million, in case you missed it.
Obviously, this is a big pile of money for most people, but Nicki has been churning out hit after hit for years and her bank account is probably jaw-dropping impressive so this amount is most likely pocket change for her.
Oh and her latest headline-snatching shenanigans have apparently only added to her wealth. Turns out, feuding with Remy Ma (and tossing out diss tracks
) has been more than worth her while, money-wise.
So says Nicki at least.
She popped onto Instagram to boast a bit, sharing a side-by-side snap of cover art work from previous musical masterpieces, along with a caption that read, “Look @ God. Man I can't make this sh*t up. Just got the official word that in the last week, #ThePinkprint went up 79% in SALES & #PinkFriday (AN ALBUM I RELEASED IN 2010) went up 81% in SALES! Ok #Jesus I see u! #FunFact - #ThePinkprint holds the title as longest charting female rap album in the history of billboard. My fans are the absolute best. I love u guys so much. My new album will give you the most life you've ever received out of my catalogue. 🙏🏽😍😘🎀🙌🏽🦄 thank you.”
Does the fact that this fight ended up being lucrative for Nicki mean that there is more drama to come? Hm. If so, we know where she can start…Remy Ma’s husband scrolling though
Miss Minaj’s Instagram. That is an angle that is guaranteed to get tongues wagging and heads shaking.
Plus, Remy has already chimed in
with her thoughts on “No Frauds” so she’s clearly ready for round…whatever number we are currently on.
