Beyoncé Hits A Roadblock Again In Attempt To Trademark Blue Ivy's Name
Beyonce is still being prevented from trademarking her daughter Blue Ivy's name, with an event-planning company of the same name filing court documents in an effort to stop the singer from obtaining ownership of the name 'Blue Ivy Carter.'

The company already prevented the couple from registering 'Blue Ivy', arguing it was operating under that name three years before the child was even born.

Beyonce and Jay Z attempted to trademark the name for a second time earlier this year by adding her surname, but the company has now also filed legal documents challenging 'Blue Ivy Carter' too.

The application filed by the superstar couple covers products ranging from beauty items to baby teething rings. However, the application states that Bey and Jay are not actually intending to sell products but are just trying to keep other people from selling under the name.

The documents on file with the United States Patent and Trademark Office database lists fragrances, cosmetics, hair care and skincare, key chains, DVDs, CDs, baby carriages, bags, books and even playing cards and 'live musical performances'.

The database shows that the application was originally filed in January 2016, but was only made available for opposition on January 10 of this year.

Beyonce and her rapper husband first attempted to secure the trademark rights to the name 'Blue Ivy' back in 2012, shortly after the birth of their daughter.

The couple are now expecting twins, who are reportedly due in May or June. Beyonce has already scheduled a c-section.

The twins will be delivered at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. However, their daughter Blue Ivy was born at Lenox Hospital in New York City.

The couple have made plans to attempt to trick the paparazzi, using decoys to throw everyone off the trail. “They scheduled the C-section and prepared an A and a B team as decoys to confuse photographers and fans, and everyone signed confidentiality agreements," a source revealed.

We hope Beyonce and Jay Z's twins will have names that they can easily trademark without a struggle.
