Tisha Campbell-Martin Responds To Reports About ‘Martin’ Reboot After Martin’s Fiancée Hints It's Coming Back
There have been rumors circulating about the possibility of the hilarious sitcom, ‘Martin’, making its return to television.

Now, Tisha Campbell-Martin really has tongues wagging after hinting the reports are true!

The 49-year-old actress, who we all still refer to as “Gina” sat down for an interview with HipHollywood earlier this week, discussing the rumors about the beloved show.

Campbell-Martin stated, "I can't tell you. Who [put the news out?] Oh yeah. Yeah. Let me tell you something. It has been an honor to be Gina all these years and it's surprising that people still love those characters so much. So, I can't tell you  guys anything but it is very exciting. But you guys, I will tell you this, Hip Hollywood is the first to ask me that questions. So you might want to put it out there."

So if she's interested in doing a ‘Martin’ reboot, we’ll step out on limb and assume she’s gotten past the sexual harassment claims she made against Martin Lawrence during the last season the show was on air. It got so bad between the two that they refused to film a single scene towards the end of the show.

Tisha's comments certainly fuels speculation on the re-boot of the show!

Martin Lawrence's fiancee, Roberta Moradfar, also give a major hint in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

Roberta shared a post on the social media site, writing in the caption, "Got word from my fiance that my favorite show may be coming back..."

Last year, Lawrence chatted with Vanity Fair on the sitcom's 25th anniversary.
Martin stated, "It’s just hitting me just now. I can’t believe it’s my show that’s so iconic. I thank God I’m alive to see it and I realize and know the impact that it has on us. I love that. I’m very proud of the way it’s impacted the culture — ‘cause I am hip-hop. I’m doing what I’m supposed to do. What God blessed me to be here to do."

"Martin" aired on FOX in Aug. 27, 1992 and continued for five seasons.

The show helped propel the careers of Campbell-Martin (Gina), Tichina Arnold (Pam), Carl Anthony Payne II (Cole), the late Thomas Mikal Ford (Tommy) and Lawrence.

Campbell-Martin also had fans talking last month after she shared a photo of herself and Arnold (Pam). She wrote in the caption, "Ready for 2018..."
