The Jackson family members are obviously overjoyed for Janet Jackson, who welcomed her first child!
The singer's family members took to social media to send their congratulations to Janet and her husband Wissam.
Janet's older sister, LaToya Jackson, tweeted a baby announcement on Tuesday, writing, "How exciting! @JanetJackson. Jan and Wissam just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! Congratulations!!!!"
Janet's father, Joseph "Joe" Jackson, shared a sweet throwback photo of himself and his famous daughter.
Joe also posted a loving message on his website on Wednesday, writing, "Congratulations to my daughter Janet Jackson on the birth of my Grandson. Making me a grandfather again! Wishing you all the love and happiness a father could wish a daughter."
Janet's nephew, TJ Jackson, also sent a congratulatory tweet on the family’s new addition. He wrote, "Congrats Auntie @JanetJackson!!! So so happy for you & Wissam. Enjoy every minute with your greatest hit [Eissa]."
Janet's rep confirmed the baby's birth in a statement on Tuesday, stating, "Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably."
The 50-year-old singer was laying low during most of her pregnancy, but did hop on social media in late November. She wrote, " Hey you guys.. It's been awhile.. but I'm still listening.. I feel your love and prayers.. Thank you.. and I'm doing well." (sic)"
Janet confirmed the exciting baby news in October, but was said to be feeling pretty ill with morning sickness early in the pregnancy.
At that time, an insider shared, "Janet is super excited. She's doing great. Janet feels really strong and is just so excited. She is doing OK and resting until she is due. She is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK ... Her support system is extremely strong. She is taking things easy these days and is feeling well but not overdoing it in any capacity of her life.
"Janet is staying healthy for her and her baby. She's been praying for a child for a very long time. She's already in the process of thinking of baby names. She feels like this is one of the best things ever to happen to her."
