R&B Singer K. Michelle Gives A Tearful Update On Her Health Post-Surgery In The Hospital — Watch
K. Michelle recently shared an update on her health, via a tearful Instagram story.

The reality star/singer has been going through the motions to finally be free of the fillers she had injected into her derriere. Bye, Betsy

This journey has included two surgeries and a whole lot of recovery. Wow. In a video obtained by theJasmineBrand, she can be seen crying and doling out details.

“I’ve been sick. I’m doing better. So I love y’all, so much. It’s been so rough. I’ve had blood transfusions, everything. It’s been a really rough week.”

(Getting a blood transfusion is nothing to scoff at, as it hints that K. Michelle may have experienced complications while in surgery.)

“But I thank y’all for everything. I’m ok. I’m crying because I’m happy. I’m not crying because I’m sad. It’s been so painful. It’s been a lot. So I just thank God that I made it out on the other side.”

“I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. And nobody did. So this is the first time in my life I’ve ever gone through something like that. So, really I just see things a whole lot differently. And I thank everybody who is there for me.”

She had discussed needing another procedure on Steve Harvey.

“I went and did the butt shots. Everybody was doing it. A lot of your favorite artists, we went to the same person. They’re sick too, but I just talk about mine. I don’t lie to y’all. I don’t tell y’all, ’Oh, this is great!’ It’ll catch up. So I said, if I can show them my body, and what I did, I can also show them the outcome and the consequences of it. So I’ve been very open about it.”

Mood!!!!! Thanks to all of you for you well wishes after my ER scare. You guys really were concerned and had my back. I’m feeling better. I developed Bronchitis but i’m slowing down and taking time to completely heal up! Not rushing it this time. Headed to the Steve Harvey show today to give my Rebels and R&B heads a full update on Kimberly❤️

A bit ago, she opened up about her decision to boot the faux booty bits. Several times, actually.

“‘Wow, I really thought I was like poppin’,” she once confessed. “I was like, oh yeah, I look good. I look so good. And I did it so many years ago. I did it about, what, four or five years ago. And I didn’t start to feel any pain or have any issues until like a year ago. And my health just started to decline and go down and I ran all types of blood tests, everything. Doctors were really trying to figure out, you know, what was wrong with me.”

“And I had seen some stories of a lot of women, who were going through the same thing and it was like discoloration. It was pain in your back. It was migraines. It was super discomfort. I took the stats and I’m like I know what this is. It’s like you always have this intuition, where you know you might want to ignore it. But I couldn’t ignore it anymore and it just wasn’t worth it.”

Wishing her a speedy, issue-free recovery.
