Kandi Burruss Discusses Her Struggles With Her Son Ace

Kandi Burruss, star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", has been looking back at the growth of her baby boy, Ace, since the last season of the show. Kandi talked to Bravo about her favorite things about a new baby, as well as the most difficult things.

Burruss gushed over little Ace, saying she loves "everything" about him. She said, "I love kissing him. I love seeing him learn new things. I love playing with his little toes. I love rocking him to sleep! I could go on and on..."

She was asked in the interview about the hardest part about having a new baby. Kandi replied, "The hardest thing in the beginning was getting used to no sleep and having to feed him every hour. Thank God we made it past that stage."

The recent premiere episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" aired this past Sunday and fans were rather surprised to see Kandi and Todd already potty-training their 4-month-old son. But, it was a success for Kandi the first time around with her daughter Riley.

Kandi previously spoke about her struggle with conceiving back in September 2014, revealing she tried to get pregnant the old-fashioned way but had no success after two years.

The 38-year-old reality star discovered she had a large uterine fibroid and had surgery, before attempting in-vitro fertilization.

Burruss shared, "We decided to do IVF because this is my last year in my 30s, and I wasn’t trying to keep trying without any results or whatever. We decided to go for it with the IVF treatments. We started in February/March."

Thankfully, the couple's very first IVF attempt was successful!

Burruss said at the time, "Luckily for us, it was a blessing, and we actually had success with the first IVF treatment. It takes a couple of months for you to go through the whole process of injections, retrieving the eggs and all of that stuff, then allowing them to put them back in and praying that they take. One of our eggs took."
