Family drama is tough.

Keyshia Cole is experiencing some bumps with her relatives at the moment. Viewers have seen their issues with resentment, adjustment to fame and substance abuse cropped up on their reality shows, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, Keyshia Cole: All In, and most recently, Iyanla: Fix My Life

It seems Keyshia was really bothered by the actions of an unnamed family member, as she sprinkled hints about the clash across her Instagram story.

A close-up of Keyshia’s Balenciaga sneakers at the gym read, “B[Expletive]es will talk foul about you, while they wearing the shoes you bought them on their feet!”

Next, in two shots of her taking a walk, she wrote, “Can’t pick ya family, but you can pick ya FRIENDS”. And then “Family can be so hurtful, but when God..”

She summed up her feelings with a graphic that explained, “Being genetically related doesn’t make you family. Love, Support, Trust, Sacrifice, Honesty, Protection, Acceptance, Security, Compromise, Gratitude, Respect, & Loyalty is what makes you family…Maybe next life time”

Anyway, who do you think she is fighting with? Could be her sister, Neffe?

Get into it🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌👌 #neffe #neffeteria #changetheworld #changetheworld #changetheworld #loveyourself #LiveLoveLaugh
A few years ago, she published a book titled Price I Paid and discusses her relationship with her younger sister.   .

Keyshia wasn’t pleased and posted, "How many of ya’ll have leaches in your own family? I need to know I’m not alone! [Expletive] talk about me in ya book and wearing the shoes I gave u on the cover? [Expletive] bogus! If it wasn’t for my name, people making money off that alone. They would have the courage to say  they just don’t like me…I see I gotta take it back to the days when I used to slap a [expletive] tho!"

A few years ago, Neffe decided to reach out to her sister, offering a public apology for hurting Keyshia via Instagram.

Neefe wrote, "Forgive me if I hurt you, forgive me if I didn't support you, forgive me if I let you down, forgive me if I embarrassed you, forgive if I didn't do well in your eyes because you have wanted more for me period! I'm sorry for whatever I may have done for you to be distanced from me and my children. Someone of a wise mind told me to humble myself and accept my actions and put my pride down.. I love and miss you more than you and I can't go another day without my sister knowing this.."

Well, Keyshia has also been rather open about her up-and-down dynamic with her mother, amid Frankie’s battle with drug addiction.

Not long ago, the songstress shared a lovely message, sharing a memory of a healthier, happier moment with her mother.

In the video from early 2016, Frankie was opening up about her progress at that point. She’d even been going to church and asked everyone to keep her in their prayers to stay on the right track. “I’m taking this a day at a time,” Frankie noted in the clip. “As long as I have something to do and stay focused, I won’t have to worry about no triggers.”

Keyshia penned, “This was 2 1/2 years ago. Every time my mom relapse, it breaks my heart more than it’s already been broken. I’m hoping if any of u are dealing with a family member who’s battling with drug addiction, that you, yourself are learning how to cope with the struggle of it all. And all the pain it brings to see a loved one constantly relapsing. See them go back to the streets Because that’s what they’re used to, or would rather be. I really miss you! And will always love u #FrankTheBank”.

"I told my mother the other day I was afraid to lose her because she keeps going back to the streets." Keyshia previously shared, before adding, "You know what she said? In return? She said, 'YOU'LL be aight.."

"I was like. [Expletive] is that suppose to mean. Smh. I will NOT be ok if something happens to her. AT ALL! No amount of money could replace. I don't think she cares. Really tho. I don't.”

Hope that they can all figure out how to thrive together!
