Get ready for lots of non-stop drama.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B reportedly got into a physical squabble at a New York Fashion Week party the other day and the gossip community cannot even contain themselves. So many questions, right?

Well, Nicki opted to address all the rumors during an episode of her Queen Radio show, Pitchfork notes.

“The other night I was part of something so mortifying and so humiliating to go through in front of a bunch upper echelon… people who have their life together,” she explained. “The way they passed by looking at this disgusting commotion. I was mortified.”

“I was in a Gaultier gown—off the [expletive] runway—and I could not believe how [humiliating] it all felt because we… made ourselves look—and Imma get back, but before I go, I wanna say that I would never discuss anyone’s child,” Nicki continued, touching upon claims that Cardi only flew off because Nicki mentioned baby Kulture.

“I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never… speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown,” she continued.

The rapper then said that Cardi B knew that she would look “dumb” when that footage came out, before declaring that her publicist was also “dumb” for putting out a statement in such a rushed manner.

Does Nicki feel the need to defend herself? Not really.

“I just want everybody to marinate for two minutes…. But we did hear this woman say that nothing’s off limits… because she has built her career off of sympathy and payola.”

Oh and she had some choice words for Cardi, advising her to focus on her “beautiful bundle of joy” rather than attacking people. She reminded Cardi that the young star is at the “best stage” of her career, but rather than enjoying it and being professional, she’s “throwing bottles.”

“You put your hands on certain people, you gonna die. Period,” Nicki declared.

Oof.

Anyway, Cardi had supposedly “lunged” at Nicki while she was talking with other guests at the event, though security tried to put a stop to this. At one point, her dress flew up and her underwear was exposed. Yikes. She then allegedly threw her shoe at Nicki before being escorted out of the event.

In a clip obtained by Cosmopolitan, Cardi can be heard yelling, “I will f [expletive] you up! Keep playing with me”.

After the NYFW altercation, Cardi B posted a lengthy message, calling out her long-time rumored rival and even hints as to why the fight even happened.

“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are [expletive] off!!,” Cardi recently ranted on social media.

It seems like Nicki isn’t going to press charges either, as a spokesperson for NYPD has already stated that “at this point in time we don’t have a complaint on either side.”

So, what is your feeling on this? Should Cardi have just moved along and minded her business or did Nicki deserve to be confronted about her comments?
