Azealia Banks Issues An Apology To Nicki Minaj Amid Feud With Cardi B
When the world was giving Cardi B her props for the #1 Billboard hit Bodak Yellow, Azealia Banks was on the Social Media trying to tear her down.

Now that the drama from their back and and forth has come to an end, Ms. Banks is issuing out apologies but now not to Cardi tho...

Azealia Banks and Nicki Minaj have kissed and made up after feuding for quite some time. Banks issued a heartfelt apology after throwing shade at Minaj on social media.

Banks and Minaj have apparently been feuding for years, after Azealia declined the invite to join the "Anaconda" rapper on tour back in 2012. Banks declined because she was finishing up her album, Broke With Expensive Taste. Minaj then subtweeted the message "#ManThese[expletive]Delirious", which many fans believed was aimed at Banks.

Banks also appeared to believe the post was about her, responded by writing a tweet asking, "Did you mean… 'delusional?'", adding that Nicki should use proper grammar when trying to insult someone.

There also appeared to be some issues when Azealia announced she was working with Safaree Samuels, Minaj’s former boyfriend.

Yesterday, several screenshots appearing to be direct messages between Banks and Minaj show that Azealia was finally apologizing for her previous remarks.

She wrote, "I want to apologize for whatever catty [expletive] I’ve said to and or about you in the past."

Azealia also praised Nicki for being an inspiration in the music industry. She wrote, "I really do enjoy your artistry and think you’re so intelligent and clever. You have a really brilliant art mind and often times remind me a lot of myself."

Banks adds, "Now that I’m growing up I’m realizing a lot about what it means to be a strong woman and you’ve showed nothing but strength and perseverance from day one."

Azealia even touched on the controversy over her working with Nicki's ex, Safaree. She said the decision was not "out of spite". She said it was "because of the never ending pressure the industry puts on us rap girls to be A+."

She continued, "Inside of all of us there’s a little black girl who cries and the last thing I want to see is that little black girl cry."

Nicki responded to Azealia's posts, writing, "You’re very talented & very smart. Focus on what really matters from now on."

Banks admitted she cried a little bit reading Minaj's response.

I love this #ratchetgirl #azealiabank #212

Banks is known as much for her social media beefs as she is her music career. She previously got into it with several female artists. Most recently, she threw shade at Cardi B. However, the "Bodak Yellow" cattily responded to Banks' diss with a video of the rapper dancing to her track.

One of the points Azealia made in her Instagram rant against Cardi was that Nicki Minaj deserves to be the face for women in hip hop right now. Does Nicki's response of "You're very talented & very smart. Focus on what really matters from now on," mean she actually co-signs Azealia’s opinion?
