It's Not Over As Nicki Minaj Has Even More To Say About Her Issues With Cardi B...
We never bought Nicki’s lackluster denial over the reported “Motorsport” collaboration drama with Cardi B. Plus, she was reportedly talking trash right afterwards too.

Appearing on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program on April 12th, Nicki, who was there to boost up attention for her two brand new singles, “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li,” was asked about all about her rumored rival.

Apparently, the drama all stems from Migos’ song “Motorsport,” on which both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj make featured appearances. Um, we have our doubts about that timeline, but sure.

Nicki insists that Cardi wasn’t being truthful about her verse being altered during an interview last November; during a sit-down with UK’s Capital Xtra, Cardi alluded to Nicki’s contribution to the track being shortened to make way for her.

"When I heard the track, her verse wasn't finished -- well, it's not the verse that is out right now -- and Quavo told me to get on the song, and I just felt like it was a perfect opportunity for me to be on a track that's big like that,” Cardi had dished.

Now, after tearing up while describing how it hurt her and the lack of respect she felt she was given from Cardi, Nicki popped onto Twitter to sprinkle more details out into the world.

“How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request? So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn’t “change” my verse? 😩🤣 #NickiDay #ChunLi”.

The part about Cardi allegedly asking for her name to be removed from Nicki’s verse is especially noteworthy. The “original” (supposedly) version of “Motorsport” has been floating around on social media via a few leaked videos.

“If Cardi the QB, I’m Nick Lombardi,” Minaj raps in it, referring to herself as legendary Super Bowl-winning coach Vince Lombardi….and Cardi as her team’s quarterback.

Okay.

Nicki stated in her interview on Thursday that she has no beef with Cardi, but just felt let down and hurt.

Nicki told host Zane, "That really, really hurt me because I really fully supported [Cardi]. And up until this recent interview she did [with Ebro Darden for Beats 1], I had never seen her show me genuine love in an interview."
Minaj adds, "And I can only imagine how many girls wished they could've been on a song with Nicki Minaj. I'm not saying it in a cocky way... I'm saying it, like, the first thing out of your mouth when somebody asks you about a Nicki Minaj feature is, "she changed her verse." Excuse me?"

Just last week, Cardi shot down mutterings that there was a secret feud going on.

"I feel like people wouldn’t be satisfied if me and her were making out on a freaking photo, or if I was with any female artist. People just want that drama, because it’s just entertaining. When Remy and Nicki were going at each other, everybody was getting entertained, and I think that’s what people want. It’s just so annoying."
