Report: Nicki Minaj Shades Ex-Boyfriend Meek Mill After He Was Sentenced To Prison
Nicki Minaj may be a mixed bag morally, but she does excel at doling out gems from time to time (see also: Nicki reportedly “liking” a comment mocking then-rumored rival Cardi B).

Well, Nicki apparently has some thoughts about her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill’s legal woes. According to Media Take Out, she tweeted some hilarious nonsense in response to some recent news.

She reportedly wrote, “Don’t drop the soap”. She evidently quickly deleted it though. (See the alleged screenshot below).

Maybe it was hacked? Even if it weren’t though, let’s not all pretend these two haven’t been trading barbs since Nicki confirmed they broke up at the top of the year. He mocks her on stage and she insults him on social media.

Meek Mill was sentenced to two to four years behind bars on Monday. Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley cited him for violating probation from his nearly decades-old gun and drug case by getting arrested twice this year. Once for allegedly getting into a fight in an airport and the other for reportedly doing wheelies on a bike in New York City.

The judge mentioned the numerous chances she had given to the Philly rapper, but he “basically just thumbed [his] nose at this court.”

Many celebrities have since flocked to social media in order to show their support.

Even Jay-Z, who took to Facebook to write, “The sentence handed down by the Judge -- against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer -- is unjust and heavy handed. We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career.”

Meek’s team also had an interesting take on this sentence. His lawyer is insisting that it stems from a Boyz 2 Men song.

TMZ says Joe Tacopina claims the judge suggested that Meek do a remake of Boyz II Men's "On Bended Knee" in a meeting in chambers in 2016 and she supposedly wanted a shout-out.

Meek thought she was kidding and therefore laughed. Joe insists that she then said, “I'm not kidding,"

When Meek refused, she replied, "Okay, suit yourself."

"I may have made a mistake but I never had the intention of disrespecting you," he later claimed.
