Nicki Minaj Addressed Her Reported Issues With Cardi B And Sets The Record Straight On Their Drama
Nicki Minaj is not worried about what we all think.

Obviously. Otherwise, would she be bickering with a roster of reality stars

And now her feud with Cardi B continues on. Or does it?

Nicki recently appeared on Elliott Wilson’s CRWN interview series on TIDAL, alleging that there’s always some new woman they bring out every two years to take her spot…but it never works. She went on to claim that being backed by a major label “doesn’t make you great.”

Upon being asked about longtime rumored rival Cardi, Nicki insisted the two agreed at the Met Gala in May to not “feed into the BS” before then saying “there is always some [ish] happening.”.

“If a person keeps on offending you, then you have to address it,” she explained.

Cardi then got tongues wagging by seemingly responding to Nicki’s comments about major labels and the women they "created" to come for Nicki’s success.

And if that screenshot wasn’t direct enough, check out Cardi’s response to a fan saying Nicki Minaj is jealous of her success.

Well, during Thursday’s episode of Queen Radio, Nicki was pressed about this very topic once again.

Beats 1 host Ebro Darden brought up Nicki’s relationship with the Invasion of Privacy musician, as well as her issues with Remy Ma.

“I never saw you and Remy heading in this path. I never saw that. I never saw you and Cardi headed in this path. I never saw that,” he shared. “And do you believe these things are fixable? Because women in rap are having a time right now, at least a lot of— ”

The visibly agitated rapper interrupted, snapping, “Can we please move on, Ebro? C’mon. Honestly, let’s go. If you know me, you would know the answer to the first question. Like, give me a [expletive] break”.

“Now, I didn’t know Cardi and I had an issue, but I guess we do since you’re saying it and other people are saying it. To me, she may have taken an issue with things that I’ve said, but I’m not going to bite my tongue […] You gotta have thick skin. People talk [expletive] about me all the time […] You can’t be expect to be liked and loved and praised all the [expletive] time. Give me a break.”

Hm.

She didn’t get any more specific with the “things” she has said about Cardi, but went on to say that the music business is not suited for anyone who wants their behind kissed 24/7.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s relationship (or lack thereof) has constantly grabbed headlines over the past year. Many people believe the two femcees continue to send subliminal shots at each other on records; however, Cardi has claimed that here was no bad blood.

“I just feel like it's really internet made-up,” Cardi told Ebro back in April. “I really feel like fans and people really want to see that happen because it's really entertaining. To see people beef is entertaining.”

Hm. But, then again, Nicki cried about all of the Motorsport drama in public before, so that is something. No?

What is your take on all this? Should people quit trying to pit Nicki and Cardi against each other or do you think there is something there?
