O.J. Simpson's Parole Hearing Is Coming To A T.V. Near You... Really Soon! — Full Details
Months ago, we reported on the fact that O.J. Simpson may have been up for parole, thanks to Nevada’s system of measuring “points” based on age, employment history and prior probation/parole revocations.

You may recall that the former athlete is currently incarcerated at the Loveland Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nevada for kidnapping and robbery charges, as he was given 33 years back in 2008 (on the 13-year anniversary of Simpson being acquitted for the murder of his wife, interestingly enough).

In a few days, you will be able to watch this parole hearing from the comfort of your home. Maybe.

The Wrap is currently reporting that the hearing will take place Thursday (July 20th) at 1 p.m. EST and that it will be aired by ESPN, among other networks. Because what is more entertaining than watching a court hearing? We kid, we kid.

This will make for some…odd television viewing, we guess? People will tune in though…we said that like we aren’t going to do so too.

Also, Page Six is saying that he will “show up” via a video feed from the Nevada prison he’s currently incarcerated in. Well, that isn’t as exciting as a real-life appearance, but what can you do?
No word yet on whether or not he actually has a chance at being granted parole, but we shall see.  If he is though, O.J. will be released on October 1st.

A guard that is supposedly close to O.J. claims that he is very nervous about the media’s presence during the hearing, as he is concerned that this may sway the parole board to deny his release. He probably isn’t wrong there, is he?

Back in 2013, O.J. was granted parole on a few of the twelve original charges, but was also required to serve an additional four years for some of the weapons-related convictions…including assault with a deadly weapon.
