‘Power’ Star Omari Hardwick Gets Heated When A Female Fan & Her Brother Disrespects His Wife & Family
POWER star Omari Hardwick only asks one thing when it comes to anyone (especially women) when they approach him for a photo and/or autograph if he’s with his wife: respect her or at the very least acknowledge her presence.

The actor got had to address this topic when he dropped by The Breakfast Club to promote his new film with Tika Sumpter called Nobody’s Fool.

During the interview, DJ Envy played a phone call from a female fan who blasted Hardwick for refusing to take a photo with her and being argumentative.

The fan said on the phone: “I was in Brooklyn Bridge Park and I spotted Omari Hardwick, and I walked up to him and told him he was a great actor, and told him I was a fan and can I get a photo with him, and he was like ‘No, No, No. No photos because I’m with my family.’”

Then she said she walked away as the POWER star began yelling at her for not acknowledging his family.

Omari then picked up the story from there and said the fan had actually followed him and his family for several blocks before requesting a photo, and she was offended when he said no.

He then relayed the correct way to approach him in front of his wife/family:

“Just acknowledge our families. This woman to my right have saved my life,” he said about his wife. “You don’t really know the story. I was broke as [expletive]. She saved my [expletive] life. Chill the [expletive] out. Just relax and then acknowledge her enough. It could be half of a look. [Say] hi. That’s all we need. Cool, you acknowledge that she’s a breathing entity. Motherf[expletive]ers is crazy.”

A few weeks ago, the POWER star got into it with a young man who defended the woman on Instagram.

“Heard you yelled at a girl who asked for a picture because you were w your family..in her defense she didn’t know who was w you. You actors be acting like your God. Knock it off playboy @omarihardwickofficial.”

Pissed off by the allegation, which he claims didn’t go down the way it way being told by someone who wasn’t even there, Omari put out an Instagram essay to get him all the way together.

"@4cambam4 Let me kill yo [expletive], playboy," he responded. "She got out of her car to follow me and my family maybe 200 yards... as this older sweet nanny tells us. She gets to me and ask for a pic. I say, as I always do, God bless you, I don't do [pictures] when I'm with my family. Respectfully. She then responds, 'So, I can't get a picture with you?!' With SHOCK in her face. She never acknowledges my family with a LOOK. I go, 'Huh? You didn't hear what I said?'"

Hardwick went on to say his nanny spoke up for him and was stunned that the fan kept requesting a photo. He went on to question if she really was a fan before stating he “may be 1 of the top 3 most giving celebrities I know.”

“I am not an actor 1st. I am a man. A king of a tribe. A respectful friend to ALL whom walk with me in a public setting,” he continued. “SHE was someone infatuated with a character obviously & could give two [expletive] about the cat i am. The person who could NEVER be defined as you just tried to. Mind your mouth before you use it out of turn. Wrong 1 playboy.”

The POWER star wrapped up his clap back by stating he plays a fictional character on TV and people need to know the difference.

“For the 5000 time, Ghost is a character with a FAKE family. The ‘playboy’ you disrespectfully coined me is the REAL DEAL,” he said. “I give 3 [expletive] about celebrity or actor or whatever. Actor is a JOB. Celebrity a whole other JOB x 5. I respect EVERYONE’s lane. Don’t make their own disrespect of themSELVES then of me & my family…..my issue. That was HERS. & i checked her for it. Period. Rock on playboy. Find your truth. Don’t ever come on my page [expletive] with MINE.”

The woman from incident spoke up for herself, as well. She is claiming Omari is not being truthful about what happened.

“You’re a liar. I walked off after saying, ‘Ah, really? Okay.’ Walked across the street, you started yelling…Your fans are who made you. A simple, ‘No, I don’t do pics when I’m with my family would have been nice.’ Your attitude is what shocked me, not the fact you wouldn’t take the pic.”

The two went back and forth for a bit longer, with Hardwick ending it all with the words, "You are a lost human. God bless your soul."
