"Power" Returns For Season 4: Check Out Dramatic Sneak Preview [VIDEO]
Fans of the Starz show "Power" will be thrilled to check out the teaser video that picks right up where the third season ended. The popular show will reportedly return to the air this summer.

Fans are anxiously awaiting to see what the show's creator, Courtney A. Kemp has in store for viewers. This season viewers will get to see Larenz Tate and the late Charlie Murphy on the show.

Murphy recently passed away after a battle with leukemia and fellow cast members and production staff had no idea he was even ill. A source said, “Production sources on the show — which stars 50 Cent — tell us they had no idea Charlie was dealing with cancer. We’re told he never told anybody on set and put in the work like everybody else.”

Kemp paid tribute to Murphy on her Instagram writing, "RIP Charlie Murphy. We were so lucky to work with him on Power this season. His talent and his commitment were beyond measure. Keep them laughing in heaven..."

The late comedian and actor will be playing a prison guard, Marshal Williams, on the new season.
The third season of "Power" showed James “Ghost” St Patrick in prison for the murder of federal agent Greg Knox. He didn't even commit the crime but things look pretty dire for Patrick.

Tommy Egan plans on selling drugs in his club, while 50 Cent's character, Kanan, has kidnapped his son.

The 90-second preview video shows Tasha (Naturi Naughton) finding out about Ghost’s arrest from his lawyer, who tries to calm her down. Tasha reveals that Tariq has been kidnapped for ransom. Ghost's attorney tells her that the news will be too much for him and she needs to keep it quiet until he gets out of prison.

“Power” star 50 Cent recently revealed the show’s season four return date with a post on social media.  The rapper and actor captioned his post, “I’m gonna let POWER return on my birthday. This season is even better then the last. Make sure you put STARZ in your cable package. POWER, BMF, Tomorrow Today. Coming soon!!!”

Lela Loren, who plays the role of Angela Valdez on "Power" recently discussed the upcoming fourth season.

She said, "I would say that season 4 starts out going in a particular direction and will sort of lull you into thinking that Power has become a certain thing, and then it will whip around and bite you in the face like a rabid dog. It’s like that dog that you thought you loved just [mimics a dog biting].”

"Power" Season 4 premieres on July 6, according to 50 Cent. It will likely feature 10 episodes like the two previous seasons
