Former "Cosby Show" star Raven-Symoné caused a little controversy when she decided to share a post suggesting rappers rose to fame by perpetuating the "worst types of black stereotypes" such as drug dealing, pimping, and killing people. Rapper T.I. clapped back at Raven for thinking she's better than everyone.

Symone appeared to be taking a shot at many of the big names in Hip-Hop with her recent social media post.

She shared a photo that was taken at Jay Z’s RocNation brunch ahead of the Grammy Awards. The photo featured rappers such as T.I., Diddy, Jay-Z, Swizz Beatz, Yo Gotti, Jim Jones, DJ Khaled, Big Sean and many others.

Raven shared the post to Instagram, which read, "A group of so-called "Successful" Black men (minus Khalid racially) who became rich and famous from perpetuating the worst Black stereotypes to the ears and eyes of the whole planet like drug dealing, pimping, murdering other Black men and disrespecting Black women. I know, making observations is being a hater. Cheers."

See the post below:

#RavenSymone shared this post on her page and some folks in her comments are going innnn 👀👀Thoughts, #Roommates? 🤔
Symone's post received tons of comments, some people agreed while others found the post offensive.

One follower wrote, "A child star telling Black men from the hood they shouldn’t have sold drugs to survive.. . Sit down raven."

A second fan posted, "Her black card has been revoked. Her and stacy dash are some nut heads.... Can we get a trade please??"

And another follower added, "how about y'all go and attack the person who actually said it, but I guess it's too easy to degrade the woman. she reposted it but Speech said it."

“So you mad or naw?” That is what Twitter’s reaction has been to actress/singer, Raven-Symone. Apparently Raven is once again on everyone’s bad side after she shaded Jay-Z, Diddy, T.I., and other notable rappers in a photo from their appearance at the Rocc Nation Brunch last week.

T.I., who is known for being outspoken on social media, responded to Raven's post. He shared an Oscar Wilde quote that reads, "Every saint has a past & every sinner has a future."

Tip wrote in the caption, "@ravensymone Your sins ain't no greater than ours ma'am. The air must be thin as hell up there on that high horse you sittin on. Somebody please let me know...wtf up wit shawty?" [sic]

Trey Songz jumped in to comment on Tip's post, writing, "It's so sad that she's really a clown. Speech too."

Ballerific Comment Creepin 🌾👀🌾 #treysongz #commentcreepin

Raven later responded by removing the post, while sticking to her guns and not backing down. She wrote, "Deleted my post because the comments were not something I want my underage followers looking at. I'm no deleting because I don't believe in what I said."
SMH

The post Raven shared was actually from Speech of Arrested Development.

#ARRESTEDDEVELOPMENT - Thank you all for an amazing #25thAnniversary celebration of #3years5monthsand2daysinthelifeof we traveled all throughout Europe, US, Australia and New Zealand! #HipHop #WORLDTOUR #WeLOVEourFANS #LifeMusic

He took to Instagram to write, "#KEEPPERSPECTIVE I listen to many of these brothers art and I respect certain things about them. But it is imperative that we don’t lose sight of the simple truth - these men were CONGRATULATED by a white supremacist culture for degrading black men and women, portraying us as disposable as a cockroach within their lyrics. They taught and glorified the drug, pimp, prostitution, stripper and gang game, and led many impressionable people down a path that they have paid heavily for, while these “successful dudes got paid! This is not a Diss, it’s a reminder, that all that glitters ain’t gold! True black power is not this, its despite this!"

It's interesting to note that Speech wasn't slammed by anyone over the post (except Trey Songz) , while Raven was skewered!
