Remy Ma Has Some Choice Words About Drama & Recent Altercation Between Nicki Minaj And Cardi B
REVOLT’s newest YouTube series, State of the Culture, dropped on Monday (September 10) featuring Joe Budden, Remy Ma, Scottie Beam and Jinx.

And these four wasted no time addressing the ugly altercation between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B this past weekend at a New York Fashion Week party.

The internet was looking forward to this debut episode as it’s no secret there’s no love lost between Remy Ma And Nicki Minaj.

Budden opened up the discussion about the NYFW blowup as he criticized Cardi B’s aggressive behavior. Scottie Beam and Remy Ma then reminded Joe that Cardi B’s behavior is consistent with her lyrics and has been championed by all of her supporters for the longest.

The Terror squad femcee pointed out the fact that Cardi B has been Cardi B for 25 years and only been a chart topping rapper for 1 year. Thus people should know which Cardi they are going to get when she feels provoked. Remy added that the women present for the recently reported club brawl weren’t so innocent either.

“Those girls that were there knew Cardi B was gonna be there,” she said. “And they purposely came there, taunting her.”

Remy also wanted to point out that everyone needs to stop calling the NYFW incident a fight.

“Let’s be clear—there really wasn’t a fight,” she said, especially considering that there was no actual physical contact. After all, as Remy pointed out, Nicki was bordered off by her security during the melee.

Her additional thoughts were “people need to stop talking crazy. Stop talking crazy, stop tweeting crazy, stop talking all this Instagram banging.” Not to mention, Remy said, the same people who are egging the two women on are the same folks who will be the same people calling for peace when things turn violent, as they did with Cardi.

The internet of course weighed in on Remy’s comments:
One commenter stated: “If Cardi wanted to pop up she wouldn’t wear that dress, the dress was holding her back more than the securities😂 she knew exactly what she was doing! She wants to be about that life but isn’t really about it. There are time and place for everything u can’t afford to act classless everywhere, you have only one successful album sis be humble!!!”

This person claimed: “Why would they even invite her to this upper echelon knowing her whole career is based on a different lifestyle.. that sounds stupid asf. They invited her knowing how she gets down, to make their event more relevant. All those celebs are there to make it more relevant. She’s not at the mercy of those ppl. More like the other way around. Don’t invite a duck to a chicken event and get upset when the duck don’t act like a chicken”

Another fan weighed in by saying: “@remyma you spent 7 years away from your child for what? If this is your take on this situation, then your 7 years was in vain. Nothing is worth letting someone move you to violence. There is no justification for what transpired between these young women. As a black woman, I am disgusted that these women resemble me. It is shameful what we have as representatives of us in the media today. Incidents and justification of incident like these continue to tarnish our race.”

After the NYFW altercation, Cardi B posted a lengthy message, calling out her long-time rumored rival and even hints as to why the fight even happened.

“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are [expletive] off!!,” Cardi recently ranted on social media.

While on Beats 1 Queen Radio show, Nicki denied that she ever insulted Cardi’s daughter, Kulture.
