Sheree Whitfield's Prison Bae Tyrone Gilliams' Plea For Early Release Has Been Denied
On the latest Real Housewives of Atlanta episode, Sheree could not stop talking about her prison-bound special someone, Tyrone Gilliams. She was so excited about him possibly being released shortly and that they could finally be together and tie the knot.

Not so fast, Sheree!

The latest reports claim that this probably won’t be the case.

Radar Online is saying that New York Federal courts have declined Tyrone’s request to be released earlier.

Back in 2013, he was sentenced to 120 months in jail for security and fraud charges while trying to steal $5 million for various investors.

Gilliams apparently claims to be a preacher, but reportedly scammed millions of dollars out of people in a Ponzi scheme. He would seemingly tell people that he is trying to get a group of investors together to pool their money to invest in U.S. Treasury STRIPS (Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities). The money was supposed to be invested in Treasury bonds that will mature on a specific date and provide around five percent interest. But Gilliams never purchased or traded anything...and was taking the cash and having it deposited in his account in Ghana.

Shady, shady.

Two years ago, Tyrone he challenged his sentence, but this was denied. The next consideration for release was set to January 2018.
The documents filed by Tyron stated that he was not the man who was in charge of the fraud scheme and that the government didn’t have overall evidence in the first place.

The papers also stated that his counsel was “no good” as well.
Tyrone even asked to be released on bail. However, U.S. District Judge Deborah A. Batts was not having it and shut this down on March 20, pointing out that no new evidence has been brought to the case.

Well, we guess that Sheree will have to wait until November 14, 2022 after all.

Last year, she may have been ticked off at producers for exposing her relationship.

An insider once explained, saying, "She has known Tyrone for decades and knew that Nene Leakes had knowledge of Tyrone and his criminal past. However, the discussions between the cast and inclusion of it as part of the show caught her by surprise."

"When cast members Kandi Burruss and Nene Leakes approached her about the rumors, she got defensive because she wasn’t comfortable going on record talking about their relationship. Sheree is skeptical because she doesn’t want the push back that former RHOA star Phaedra Parks got for being romantically linked to a felon."

Unfortunately Sheree, it looks like The Chateau's going to be lonely for a while longer.
