Man Gives Police The Worst Reason Ever For Severely Abused Black 5-Year-Old Stepson
Yesterday, we were near tears after finding out that a 3-year-old boy had been beaten to death by his mom’s girlfriend and her mother for drinking from the milk jug.

There are other scumbags out there too, unfortunately. Anyway, go grab your tissues now.

Daytona Beach police are saying that a 29-year-old man named Brian Hall did nothing to help the neglected and abused 5-year-old son of his wife, Naomi Hall.

Back in June, police arrested Naomi for the abuse of the unidentified child, who weighed about 25 pounds at the time of discovery. How horrific!

On June 28, Department of Children and Families investigators went to the Halls’ Daytona Beach home and discovered something too sad for words; the extremely thin, dehydrated boy laying on the living room floor, attempting to eat cereal scraps from the carpet, reported WFTV 9.

A report is saying that child’s hands and feet were orange-colored and he had peeling skin and blisters. His mother told the investigator she did not give her special-needs son his prescribed medications and said he went without food for up to four days a time.

Wow. That is just…infuriating. That poor kid.

He also did not receive any education. He was not even taught to speak or communicate. His “mother” (she doesn’t deserve the title non-sarcastically) said that she knew the boy was hungry when he would “chew on his hands.”
Oh, it gets even worse. When asked why he did not help the child, Brian told investigators, “He is not my responsibility. I’m not his father, I come from a rich and white family”, before pointing to his two biological children, who also lived in the home, and saying, “Those two are taken care of.”

He was arrested Tuesday on a charge of failure to report suspected child abuse or neglect and the other children were taken into custody. The 5-year-old boy remains in the intensive care unit, where he is receiving physical and speech therapy.

The judge presiding over the case has allowed Naomi Hall supervised visitation with the child at the hospital.

WHAT? Why? Ugh.

Her husband faced a judge and was granted a $5,000 bond.
