Stevie J Reacts To Reports He’s Going To Prison Over $1.3 Million Child Support Deal
Stevie J has seemingly responded to media reports that he is being sentenced to prison time in his child support case. The "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star owes a whopping $1.3 million in back child support.

The music producer hopped on Twitter to clap back at reports he is headed to prison. Stevie tweeted, "If they don’t have a story now they’ll make one. All these handouts gettin outta hand."

Stevie also tweeted, "No weapon formed against me shall prosper. God prevails over all."

Several media outlets reported earlier this week that Stevie is facing prison time after violating the terms of the plea deal in his child support case.

The reports claimed that Stevie will be required to turn himself in on April 10 to begin serving time in federal prison.

Stevie's case is a federal matter, although most child support cases are handled by the state they reside in.

In Stevie's case, he owes over $1.3 million and the baby mamas of his children live in different states.

The "LHHATL" star originally pled guilty to not paying his child support payments last February. However, the judge obviously disagreed and ordered the music producer to come up with at least half of the $1,304,835.86 he owes in back child support.

Stevie was also sentenced to three years of probation at that time, unless he managed to pay the massive child support he owes before that that time.

The reality star appeared in Manhattan Federal Court on Monday, where he was arraigned on charges of violating the plea deal. Stevie pled not guilty once again.

Judge Paul Crotty was very unhappy that Stevie hadn't held true to his word on making regular restitution payments for the $1.3 million in back child support.

Stevie has also failed several of his mandatory drug tests.

The judge reportedly told Stevie J to prepare himself to possibly serve prison time when he surrenders to the authorities next month.
Pride & joy

The feds had originally requested that Stevie be sentenced to six months in prison. However, Judge Crotty thought it was best for Stevie to remain free in order to make money to pay the restitution, as well needing to be involved in his children's lives.
