Zonnique Pullins Weighs In On Her Parents' Divorce Playing Out On Their Reality Show
Zonnique Pullins, who is also known by her nickname Nique Nique, recently addressed the divorce of her parents, step-dad T.I. and her mother Tiny Harris. In her new interview, the singer reveals that she is proud of the former couple for sharing the breakdown of their marriage on the family reality show.

Pullins, formerly part of the girl group OMG Girlz, sat down with Madame Noire to discuss her music career, new album, and the divorce of her parents.

Zonnique has a new album titled "Love Jones", which she co-wrote with her mother Tiny.

She said of her new album, "I wanted to start with an EP so that people can get a taste of who I am and so people can get really get to know me. That’s really how I picked the songs. I was having a little trouble putting them in order. Until I watched the Love Jones movie. I didn’t watch it until after I picked the name and then I wrapped everything around that and kind of made it a story line. Which has R&B, pop and hip-hop on it."

Pullins also discussed working with her mother, stating, "It can be difficult. It can. We do have a really cool relationship so we can talk about just about everything but when it comes down to us being in the studio together or me singing for her, she is a really big critic."

Zonnique was asked about the family dynamic now that T.I. and her mother have separated and are headed for divorce. She said, "It seems really the same to me, I would say. I still get to see pops and all my other siblings all the time. I feel like they still see each other. Everything is still the same."

Pullins gave her two cents on the drama of Tip and Tiny's crumbling marriage playing out in front of the cameras for their reality show, "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle."

She stated, "I was really proud. I felt like we are about to show some real drama. Our show is always so family oriented and always so positive. Even if it starts bad, it always ends positive. So I wanted to see some messy stuff. I was ready for it to be a little different and for people to see what really goes on inside a marriage."
