Tami Roman Set To Return To Next Season of "Basketball Wives" + Two New Ladies Are Reportedly Set to Join the Cast
It's all about those coins!

Tami Roman is reportedly returning to "Basketball Wives" this season after all, after the network offered her a generous deal that's too good to pass up!

There were reports last year that Roman wasn't interested in returning to the reality show. Insiders claimed Tami felt that she had outgrown "Basketball Wives."

She also hadn't been romantically involved with a basketball player since she divorced NBA star Kenny Anderson way back in 2001.

Roman, who appeared on the original and the show's spin-off "Basketball Wives LA", reportedly wanted to branch out and explore other opportunities.

It appears Tami has had a change of heart after producers of the show made her an offer she couldn't refuse. The new deal will allow her to explore other "opportunities and projects at VH1" outside of the reality series.

The new season of "Basketball Wives" begins filming later this week. Tami will join her fellow cast  mates - Evelyn Lozada, Shaunie O’Neal, Jackie Christie and Jennifer Williams.

Tami, who was born Tamisha Akbar, had her first taste of fame when she appeared on the second season of the MTV reality series,"The Real World: Los Angeles" in 1993. Roman was the first star to have an abortion on reality television.

Roman went on to appear as the dealer on the 2001 revival of "Card Sharks", as well as other shows.

Tami was one of the original cast members in the VH1 reality series, "Basketball Wives", which first aired in 2010. Roman went on to be cast on the "BBW" spin-off of "Basketball Wives LA", first appearing on the fourth season in 2015.

The reality star can also be heard on "Tami Roman's Love Talk & Hot Jamz" with advice columnist and rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys and Reggie Youngblood. The show airs Monday thru Friday from 8-10pm Central time on Houston's KCOH Radio.

Tami and her boyfriend Reggie Youngblood also appeared on "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" for its 3rd season which premiered May 29, 2015.

"Basketball Wives" producers are also trying to sign Byron Scott’s girlfriend, Cecilia Gutierrez, to the show. They also hope to add NBA legend’s son Thomas’ wife, Kristen Scott.
