Tiffany Haddish Responds To The Backlash About Saying What She Is Down To Do To Work With Bill Cosby
All eyes are on comedian/actress Tiffany Haddish after her breakout role in the box office smash movie Girls Trip. But comments she made about disgraced legend Bill Cosby has some of those eyes looking at her harshly now.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, The Girls Trip star mentioned she admired Richard Pryor & Mo’Nique and stated she’d love the opportunity to work with the Cosby Show creator if the chance ever arose.

"I still want to work with Bill Cosby," she said. "I don't care, I'll drink the juice. I'll drink the juice. I'll take a nap. I don't give a damn [laughs]. But seriously, I would love for him to play my grandfather in something."

As her comments about the fallen TV Icon rubbed people on social media the wrong way, Haddish is now stating her real intentions behind her problematic statement.

People magazine reports that when asked about her comments during a panel at the Television Critics Association’s summer tour, Tiffany said “What I said was a joke…You’re going to say some bad jokes.”
Her intention as she explains was to show that she is “not afraid to do anything. I'm not afraid of any kind of job. I'm not afraid to play any kind of girl as long as it doesn't compromise my morals."
Tiffany went out to further explain her comments as she stressed that while she doesn’t agree with the alleged actions of Bill Cosby, she won’t let the allegations fear him either.
C'mon Bill you trippin trippin....😂 #billcosby #idcthisfunny
"I don't agree with what he did or anything, but, at the end of the day, I'm not afraid of the big bad wolf," she added. "That's what I was trying to say, and I was trying to do it in a humorous way."
@Tiffanyhaddish says her comment about possibly working with #BillCosby in the future was just a joke. #TiffanyHaddish #GirlsTrip
Girls Trip starring Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith & Tiffany Haddish is in theaters right now.  After two weeks at the box office, the Will Packer produced Rated-R film has grossed over $65,524,760.
