TLC's Chilli Dragged by Internet for Saying 'All Lives Matter'
TLC is currently promoting their upcoming album that was funded by a Kickstarter campaign. Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins were interviewed about the Black Lives Matter Movement, with Chilli stating that she believes all lives matter. Fans began dragging her on social media!

Reporter Jasmine Dotiwala asked TLC, “Another issue that’s been highlighted in both the USA and the UK is the Black Lives Matter movement. Did you guys feel strongly about it, when it was kicking off in America?”

Chilli responded, “I personally didn’t go into any marches, or anything like that, but for me, all lives matter, you know what I mean? Because there is a time when different groups are targeted for different things, you know what I’m saying? So, I just think that, just the whole—what happened, police brutality, against these young black boys, all of that kind of stuff is wrong, even if it was a caucasian teen kid that this was happening to or whatever.

"It’s just not right, and some people take that authoritative position, and go crazy with it obviously. I think that before people are higher in these positions, they need to do some kind of better background check on them, or mental stability check to see if they can really handle being in a position like that."

T-Boz added, "That color sticks together too, blue, they stick together. They're not going to tell on each other."

Yikes! Then the interviewer asks, “What’s it like for you both being black woman in America in the age of Donald Trump?”

T-Boz, who previously appeared on "Celebrity Apprentice", responded to this question. She said, "I don’t care about Donald Trump, so, I mean, God is my president. I just feel sorry for the people it affects, but I don’t care about him.

When asked if they think Trump is a "scrub," T-Boz laughed before adding, "It doesn't bother me I worked on 'Celebrity Apprentice' when he wasn't president and I wasn't too fond of him then. So I don't care really."

Obviously, all lives do matter. However the point of the Black Lives Matter movement is to try and shed light on the fact that black lives appear to matter less than white lives when it comes to the criminal justice system.

Fans began dragging Chilli and T-Boz on the internet over their remarks:
Skinsnatscapswiz wrote, "All donations matter."

Mstiffany78 wrote, "Really Chilli???? Gurl BYE! SMH."

Tpainzumba commented, "I respectfully disagree with her opinion. Why do we have to keep explaining why blacklivesmatter to anyone at this point? It's ridiculous! I mean would they feel better if we said, blacklivesmatterTOO??? They get it! It's our movement. They don't get to tell us what to call it too! Entitlement at its best."

And toyatati wrote, "What??? Girl Bye! 👋🏾 It's not happening to Caucasian Teens though it's happening to our Black Teens and they have been targeted since slavery, the black codes, Jim Crow Laws and beyond. There hasn't been a time in history they haven't. Nice try with the PC answer but stand for something or fall for everything! Stop looking for these Artists who profit from your culture to actually stand up for that very same culture when it matters. That goes for white and black Frauds! #NoFrauds."
