Tommie Lee Reveals Her Future On "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta": Is She Leaving?
Tommie Lee, the newest full-time cast member of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” this season, claimed she was quitting the reality show in late May. However, it appears Lee has now had a change of heart!

Lee discussed her future on the show in a new interview with AJC. Tommie admits, "I’m really up in the air. We’re discussing it.” She went on to explain that the cast are not required to make a firm commitment until September.

Tommie said she appreciates the opportunity of starring on the reality show. She admits this is the first time in her life she has had a regular paycheck. These days she is able to provide a more stable life for her and her two daughters - Havalli (10) and Samaria (13).

“I used to barely have enough money to pay the bills,” Tommie said. “I’d steal and sell stuff. I now feel so blessed beyond measure.”

Tommie joined the cast in 2016 as the girlfriend of Scrapp De Leon, but he went to prison last year for drug trafficking. Producers on the show liked Lee, deciding to give her credit as a full cast member, alongside Joseline Hernandez, Karlie Redd, Mimi Faust, Tammy Rivera, Rasheeda Frost and Stevie J.
Tommie admits some of the cast members that had been part-time for years were a bit jealous when she received full credit this season. Lee referenced Scrappy, who has been around since season one. However, the show is geared towards females and Stevie J is the only male in the main credits.

Lee said she enjoys the fame and money from appearing on the reality show, but admits she doesn't like everyone knowing her business and judging her.

The reality star also has qualms about the drama between her and her mother, Samantha, being played out on the show. "That part bothers me,” she said. “She’s not as strong as me. I don’t want my mom to go through what I’m going through. It’s a natural mechanism to be defensive of your parents as well as their children. I don’t want to see her hurt.”

Tommie's alleged drinking issues have been played out on the show, but she insists she is not an alcoholic. She explained, “I think an alcoholic is someone who depends on alcohol to function. I don’t depend on alcohol. I can do whatever I want when I drink and still get up and handle my business.”
