An Atlanta woman has filed a lawsuit for $20 million against Usher, claiming the singer did not disclose the fact that he had been diagnosed with herpes. This makes the second woman to sue the "Burn" singer for exposing them to an STD.

The married singer reportedly had unprotected sex with Atlanta woman months ago on April 16. The woman claims she has now tested positive for herpes. 

According to the documents, the woman decided to have the test after finding out that Usher had been diagnosed with herpes in a 2012 lawsuit and settled for $1.1 million. 

The singer's accuser, who filed under the name Jane Doe, is suing the entertainer in connection with her doctor bills, punitive damages and emotional distress. 

The unidentified woman claims in the lawsuit that she had sex twice with the singer. She claims their first sexual encounter was at her Atlanta home on April 16, where she performed oral sex on the singer and they later had intercourse with a condom.


The documents state that their second sexual encounter was unprotected and took place at a New Orleans hotel on April 28. The singer was in Louisiana for the Jazz and Heritage Festival. 

The woman initially filed a $10 million dollar lawsuit when the news of Usher's herpes settlement in 2012 made headlines. However, the woman is now seeking $20 million after received a positive test for herpes. 


It was just revealed weeks ago that Usher had settled a $1.1 million lawsuit with a celebrity stylist that he had given herpes to years ago. Her test results confirmed a first-time infection and a file in the settlement reads: “In a series of telephone conversations and online chat sessions, [Usher] has apologized for infecting [her] and told her he would take care of things.”
