Will Smith Opens Up On His Relationship Status With Jada; Says They Are "No Longer Married"
Before you dismiss this story, please note that this tea is straight from the horse's mouth!

With that said, Will’s comments are not what you may be thinking right now.

With 20 years of marriage under his belt, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been serving up #RelationshipGoals in route to becoming one of Hollywood's biggest power couples.

During a brand new interview on TIDAL’s Rap Radar podcast, Will Smith shared something very interesting.

Let Will tell it, him and Jada have moved well past the labels and baggage associated with terms “husband and wife.” Instead they are focused on being each other’s true partners in life, with no deal breakers on the table for their arrangement. Will says they have even stopped using the word “married” when talking about their relationship status.

And no, that doesn’t mean they’re getting a divorce – it actually means the opposite.

The 49-year-old shared: “We don’t even say we’re married anymore. We refer to ourselves as life partners, where you get into that space where you realize you are literally with somebody for the rest of your life. No deal breakers. There’s nothing she could do — ever — nothing that would break our relationship. She has my support till death and it feels so good to get to that space.”

Whatever they’re doing as a couple certainly seems to work for them!
Jada has long echoed her husband’s sentiments about their marriage, stating that they are “family” and that the word “marriage” doesn’t even begin to explain the strong bond that the two share, along with their children Jaden and Willow and Smith’s son Trey from a previous marriage.

On Sway in the Morning recently, the actress stated:

“Here’s the thing about Will and I — [we] are family. That is never going down. It’s just not. Ever. We’re family. Take out all of that whole marriage/relationship crap, at the end of the day, Will, and I are a family. I’m going to hold him down, does not matter. All that relationship and what people think of a husband, partner, man and all that, at the end of the day, that is a man that can rely on me for the rest of his life, period.”

Smith and Pinkett Smith met in 1990 when Smith was starting his NBC sitcom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Tying the knot on December 31, 1997, Will & Jada have not managed to avoid cheating and divorce rumors but through it all – their strong bond and love stand.
