Grand Jury Reaches Decision In Z-Ro's Aggravated Assault Case Involving Ex-Girlfriend Just Brittany
In spite of the very harrowing allegations against him, it appears as though Z-Ro has avoided indictment for reportedly beating his girlfriend for two hours straight. Wow.

Months ago, Z-Ro was arrested after allegedly beating his girlfriend, rapper Just Brittany, in July. The incident supposedly occurred on April 29 on West Side Forest in the Katy area. The filed complaint stated that Brittany arrived at her boyfriend’s home in order to to discuss the canceling of a dinner date.

Upon Brittany’s arrival, Z-Ro "started to slap, punch, and dragged her throughout the residence." The complaint also stated he was holding a pistol in his hand. Brittany claims that he beat her for hours and hours.

It was pretty intense stuff.

TMZ says that the violent incident was reported by Brittany to Harris County police; she also provided a chilling recorded audio of the ordeal; the charging documents state the cell phone recording is around 21 minutes long; the rapper can allegedly be heard in the recording saying, "You're dead."

#JustBrittany’s case against #ZRo isn’t looking too strong because of inconsistencies in her verbal and written statement regarding the alleged attack... #TeaTENDERS via #TMZ

While it has been noted that the abuse allegedly occurred in April, many have questioned why Brittany waited an additional three months before reporting the incident.

Um, she was probably afraid? Because yikes. She told previously investigators that she was in pain throughout the assault and that she was “in fear for her life."

After gathering details of the attack, authorities turned this over to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. Which determined the evidence was enough to issue an official arrest warrant. Good.

Z-Ro was apparently charged with felony aggravated assault and was subsequently held without bond.
However, now it seems as though a Houston grand jury has returned a no-bill in the case of the rapper’s alleged assault.

Citing a lack of evidence, the jury declined to pursue an indictment. Hm.

Maybe they let Tami Roman throw in her two cents. Blah.

#Zro You can't keep a real one down

Z-Ro has insisted that ex’s allegations were simply a publicity stunt. He claims that she posted a photo to Instagram (san bruises) just a few hours after the alleged beating took place.
