WOW is inviting all women in the DFW Metroplex to join us at Level 3 Events & Entertainment located at 6701 Meadowbrook Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76112 on Saturday, February 25th (1pm-4pm) for our WOW: Boots & Bling Bootcamp Empowerment Fundraiser. WOW-Women of Worth USA, Inc. is a nonprofit veteran owned 501 (c)(3) with a focus on women empowerment and mental health support to help women OVERCOME and BECOME the best version of themselves in (3) areas of their lives: personal, professional, and spiritual.
Our guest speaker Ms. Monica Jackson is the first female Fort Worth Police Commander. Her unique story will bring the attendees a message of encouragement, to elevate and empower them in executing their 2023 goals. Attendees will also have an opportunity to pitch their businesses on stage, network with other successful women, and shop with our WOW vendors. We made the event an affordable $23 so that we can pack the room with POWER and WOW each other with next level empowerment. Cost includes food/drinks, networking 101, small business set-up, social media marketing, WOW takeaway bags, raffle giveaways. We also have vendor booths available for $33.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at: WOWTX.ORG. We are also accepting donations to assist with making this event a success, as well as offer at least (15) complimentary tickets to women who aspire to become entrepreneurs, excel in the corporate arena, and those who are seeking a social networking opportunity to support their personal mental health.
One of our WOW goals for 2023 is to service at least 50-100 women with empowerment workshops and B2B practices designed to promote self-growth, business mentorship, job retention, and mental health support. We are hopeful this empowerment event will provide an opportunity for women to reconnect networking channels that will empower, educate, and help them excel beyond the pandemic. The business impact of COVID-19 has particularly been hard on women-owned small businesses. In fact, according to a recent survey by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the number of women business owners who ranked their business's overall health as "somewhat or very good" fell 13 points during the pandemic, from 60% in January to 47% in July 2020.
